SERVO DRIVES and SERVO MOTORS

Overview

Trio provides a range of high-performance servo drives and servo motors that optimise machine performance. Trio’s servo solutions achieve precision control and high reliability with a plug-and-play set up.
Trio’s servo drives and servo motors are the choice for OEM machine builders and system integrators designing robots and machines that rely on motion performance. This includes applications characterised by high-speed, high-precision control such as packaging, electronics assembly and manufacture, material handling, and three-axis gantries.

Design

Everything you need, nothing more is Trio’s approach to servo system design. This maximises the performance of each servo motor, while retaining functionality such as I/O integration in the controller. This minimises cost-per-axis and enables simpler, faster machine development.

MX Servo Motors

A servo motor is required for precise control of angular position, speed, or acceleration, and they can typically achieve rapid, dynamic changes in motion. Trio’s servo motors are equipped with an integrated encoder, providing high-speed feedback for closed-loop control that ensures stable, reliable performance.

DX Servo Drives

A servo motor is controlled by a servo drive, which commands the motor’s position, speed, or acceleration. Trio’s servo drives use high-performance EtherCAT communications for real-time control. In combination with the encoder, Trio’s servo drives provide high-speed responses to dynamic conditions.
Trio’s servo drives and motors can be combined to achieve a servo solution. Trio servo drives can also control servo motors designed by other manufacturers.
